The Trident Heathers Range: Smart Design for Busy Households

The Trident Heathers collection by Furlong Flooring is the “best-of-both-worlds” choice for the modern home. It combines the legendary, hard-wearing twist construction of the Trident range with a multi-tonal (heathered) finish. In the inviting Maple Leaf colorway, you get a carpet that brings a natural, cozy warmth to your space while being specifically engineered to hide the evidence of daily life.

Key Features and Benefits

• High-Resilience Twist Pile: Trident Heathers is built for endurance. The yarn is tightly twisted and heat-set, creating a textured surface that “bounces back” after footfall. This makes it an exceptional choice for the toughest areas of the home, such as stairs and landings, where cheaper carpets often flatten.

• The “Maple Leaf” Aesthetic: This colorway is a masterclass in warm neutrals. It features a rich heathered blend of toasted oat, soft amber, and subtle woody-brown flecks. This dappled effect is incredibly practical; it masks crumbs, lint, and pet hair far more effectively than a plain-colored carpet, keeping your floors looking fresh between vacuuming.

• 100% Carefree Polypropylene: Constructed from high-performance synthetic fibers, Maple Leaf is naturally moth-proof, stain-resistant, and non-allergenic. It is the ultimate “life-proof” solution for busy families and households with pets.

• Bleach-Cleanable: You can enjoy the warm, golden tones of “Maple Leaf” without the worry. The fibers are 100% bleach-cleanable, meaning you can use a diluted bleach solution to remove stubborn household stains (like red wine or mud) without damaging the color or the integrity of the yarn.

• Heavy Domestic Rating: This carpet is a true workhorse. It carries a Heavy Domestic rating, officially making it suitable for the highest-traffic areas of the home, including the lounge, entrance hall, and the constant friction of the staircase.

• Versatile Backing Options: * Action Back: A traditional, hard-wearing woven backing that provides maximum stability and longevity when paired with a quality underlay.

  • Felt Back: A softer backing that allows for a more flexible and cost-effective installation.

• Effortless Maintenance: The tight twist pile is exceptionally easy to vacuum. Unlike loop piles that can snag on pet claws or deep shags that trap grit, the Trident Heathers surface allows for a quick and thorough clean.

• 10-Year Wear Warranty: Reflecting its durable construction, the Trident Heathers range typically carries an enhanced 10-year wear warranty, providing long-term peace of mind for your investment.
